When I first got it I though the firing pin seemed a bit broad and so as part of my on-going work to refine the GSG to perfection I carefully stoned the pin to narrow its nose down to the same thickness as other .22's I own. Just acquired my first GSG 1911 22LR and noticed one thing right a way: When using a snap cap for testing, very little deformation occurred on the plastic rim of the snap cap. Not what I am used to seeing! Posting this to see if any other GSG 522 owners have had the same problem. I'm using a brand name High Velocity ammo and have completely stripped the gun and thoroughly cleaned and oiled it. Every 2nd or 3rd round will not fire. It is feeding rounds from the magazine just fine.
