Introduction by Chip Taylor, Director of Monarch Watch I've been concerned about the loss of monarch habitat for some time. In 2005 we created the Monarch Waystation program in part to compensate for the loss of milkweeds and nectar sources and in 2010 we created the Bring Back the Monarchs program to address the larger issue of restoring milkweeds in areas from which they have been eliminated. .
