Move ff14 to another drive
As the title states, I'm trying to install FF14 on an external drive, but whenever it's installing it starts to apply the files to my computer's local drive. I cannot locate the folder on my hard drive, but the external's FF14 folder remains unchanged. I have the installer located in the external drive, with space enough for the install.I checked in Steam, there's no "Move Install Folder" option in Steam, and Steam it thinks it's only 150MB when the actual folder is nearly 40GB. You can do this by moving the existing screenshot folder somewhere and creating what's called a "symbolic link" in its place. A symlink essentially redirects all attempts to access a folder to another location, which can be on an entirely different drive if you so choose.
