Mauser k98 markings

Joel_B22 Discussion starter. 11 posts · Joined 2023. #1 · May 23, 2023. Hi everyone, I just wanted to confirm what this marking is on the receiver of my bcd 43 Mauser K98. My suspicion is that it's RC but I haven't found an exact marking like that on all the RC Mausers online. Thank you!

Sometime around the year 2000, several thousand of these guns were imported to the US and sold as surplus. They generally sold for about $200, and although their price today has grown a bit, they still are not worth anything close to a K98 that is not a Russian capture gun.
