Ruger security 6 357 review.
Mar 4, 2012 · Hello all, New guy here. I got my first Ruger a few months back and well, let's just says it's never getting sold. It's a 1979 Security Six with 2.75" barrel in .357 mag. These things are built like tanks. I almost had an opportunity buy her sister in stainless steel but the deal fell through. Oh well, I'll keep my eye out for another.

Like the others so far, I prefer the GP100. I have been thinking about a SS Security Six in 4" just to have another 357 around the house. A S&W mod 66 in 4" would be ok too. I have a S&W 66 in 2 3/4" almost there. The criteria you gave was for best accuracy, but a short barrel Security Six is a strange choice for a target revolver. Also the .38spl and .357 magnum are very different in terms of power. Since yours falls between these numbers it is a 1985. Neon Horse.
