My husband and I were over the moon as we have been trying for just under a year. However, I just did another test tonight now 8 days late and the clear blue test said not pregnant.

There are 14 days before you ovulate in a natural pregnancy so you need to count those, then add your 5 and 14 days from where you are now, gives you 33 days.
