Nissan xterra vdc off slip reset.

Vehicle: 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4x (35k total miles) with lift and 295 tires. Have had lift and tires now about 30k no issues. When I start the Xterra I have the "Diff lock" and "VDC off" lights. As soon as I turn my wheel (about 45-90 degrees) the "diff lock" light turns off. Then the ABS, VDC Off, SLIP lights turn on.My car occasionally throws up VDC Off and Slip warning lights. If I hit the rear diff switch the REAR DIFF light goes out and then ABS and SLIP come on. I can hear the 4wd engage both high and low when I turn it on with my door open.

Just a quick update, for future reference, the issue with my wife's Rogue as posted above WAS the brake light switch. Got it squared away at Crossroads Nissan of Hickory, NC this morning. Total cost for parts and labor was $163.50. I know the ABS system can get a abnormal battery voltage code some times when the battery is changed. Jay : Some times just removing the negative battery cable for 10 mins may clear it. But if it doesn't, then it will need to be scanned to see what the code is, so it can be corrected.
