Sal is definitely easier though. Maya's not too much harder to use, but in every situation Sal is better. Except Sal can get pretty boring using the same two guns, and with maya you have more diversity in guns. I'd say go with maya, unless you want it to be super easier, then go with Sal.
So generally bc it is an easy option ppl go with bee, sandhawk, pimpernel, and ladyfist. But Maya can also make great use of non-bee reliant gear, most are just a bit harder to get. On lvl72 op8, Axton had the fastest speedkill on Voracidous with a whopping 1.9 seconds, now on lvl 80 op10, that fight is the hardest raid in the game taking 40+ minutes.
