My questions - for anyone else that has a KS47 --How much spring tension does the mag catch on your KS47 have - and if you have a regular AK - is it about the same or much less. Im very familar with the KS47. Yes, it was a DDC side charger i saw break. It was mounted in the 13th spot and worked loose. The guy using the gun pulled it back and it torqued to the side. It rendered his rifle useless. Anytime you add an additonal moving part to a rifle you add a potential failure point.Waited patiently for the 2 halves of a KS47 gen 2 in the configuration I wanted to come in stock and go on sale. The KS47 is supposed to work with all AK mags. I’ve had to use my dremmel to make the gen 3s work so if you really want gen 3s, that’s what you’d have to do. I found that the poly Bulgarian mags w/ steel tab worked perfectly without mod. So there’s that.
