Last run we had her speedo stopped working, the hour meter and backlight still works so it can't be an electrical issue with the head unit. I understand the 4wd works off of the speed sensor. The problem is intermittent.yep ive found that too, going up one size in main jets increased my top speed 2 mph. and generally runs better. the jets cross to a honda motorcycle, the honda dealer is way better around here so i took mine in and told him i wanted a 145, put the rear in the front and put the 145 in the back. the oem is 138fr/142rr2003 prairie 650, recently purchased wouldn't idle and was backfiring but operated fine at full throttle. Cleaned carbs now it starts and idles fine but has lost a lot of power and is surging pretty badly. Triple checked carbs, choke valves, vacuum valves, and fuel flow. Really stumped and any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's normal for these engines. You can try opening the pilot screws to richen it up, and/or shim the needles up slightly with a #4 washer.
