I'm confused by the sorter dropping stuff into a Harvester. Personally I have my Goliath drill as low as I can > 2 Vertical > Shredder > Harvester > Sorter, and have all the ore drop right into a Smelter. (I have a drill right next to the harvester dropping dirt directly on the harvester) If I have no shards I get tiny nuggets but if I use 4 shards I get large nuggets.
