It seems like it's timed right in the raid to where it might legit be marked room. Unable to test the theory tho. As well as super loud scav yells that sound like right behind me when nowhere near a scav.
They are purely range-based aggro circles. AI scavs see you through walls, they know where you are at all times within the aggro range (160m during day, 20m during night). If AI scav has lights on gun, they can see you as if it were daylight even at night (about 160m). If it's night, they only see you from about 20m).
