Everybody on the forum says my idle is set too high. What should the idle speed be and should I find an idle set screw on the carb to adjust it. It won't shift gears or go into neutral. The adjustment is for setting the freeplay. It works similar to the cable adjuster on the clutch lever with a dirt bike. On the atv, the foot shifter system is connected to the shifting clutch. When you press down on the shift lever, it also works the clutch - same as pulling the lever on the mc.

The electric shift motor on the front cover of the engine should be removed as well. I did the switch for a rancher that used the quad that way for years.
