I have SL here. Always have been good and fair over the years. Little problems. When i got my CM2000, had zero problems getting it connected. Though this ISP is only at 1Gb. Was told if and when they can get ride of TV services, speeds would be seen past 1Gb. But 1Gb has been good for me.

When I check the modem's diagnostics, I see that the "downstream power level" is bad. Specifically: - Downstream Status: Bad. - Downstream Power Level: Bad. - Downstream power is poor (17.2dBmV). Ok so couple of items on the CM2000 modem that you need to get the ISP to correct: 1. Power levels are WAY TOO LOW and all over the place:The problem is clearly what the router takes in and not what it is pushing out. Any ideas how to fix both issues? I've seen sketchy cables/port cause it to connect at fast ethernet speeds (10/100). This happens more than we'd like to see. so try different cables and try a different pc/laptop (or even port on it) 2.With 1 leg for the modem and the rest can then be sent to a different splitter to feed the reset of the home. this keeps the signal as clean as possible for the modem.
