I switched from EDC Glock 23 to the Kimber Pro Carry II then after about a year I obtained a Ultra RCP II and it has become my EDC. All in .45 ACP. I kept my Glocks as I like the platform but those damm 1911's keep calling me back. I own both the P938 and a Kimber Ultra Carry CDP II. Two vastly different guns, difficult to compare. Personally I find the Kimber a tad too much to carry and a bit finicky as many 1911's tend to be. On the other hand reliability of the P938 is questionable. Mine was fine until about 500 rounds in and I started having issues with hollow points.

Super Carry Ultra has the KimPro finish, the ultra raptor is blued. The Kimpro will protect against corrosion better than the bluing. Also, if you like all black and all steel, the Super Carry Ultra HD is another option. Other than that they are very much similar.I have a Pro CDP as well as an Ultra Raptor and Ill be darned if I feel the Ultra shoots better than the Pro. I am sure someone else would problably shoot the Pro better than the Ultra. It does not matter all that much really, they both shoot very, very, well. I carry them both. The CDP went through a few minor changes prior to the Series II guns. The primary thing I think was they reduced the amount of the carry melt treatment a little.
