(Good info on Paul's website BTW). Just as Dan said the D3VE's are closed chamber heads. The D2's are open chamber and yes those are prone to detonation (the D2's only). D3's are really close-port wise-to the D0VE's but obviously the D3's have bolt-down rockers and bigger chambers. The E7's have TINY ports and-well-the only intake that fits them is the EFI intake (fuelie's).The D0VE heads do NOT require any milling, drilling or tapping of the valve / rocker stud pedestals or screw in modifications. The Super Cobra Jet / Boss 302 / 351 valvetrain fits these heads WITHOUT any modifications. The thing you need to look out for is the length of the pushrods. They need to be 8,55" in length.
