Doing this puts your remote start in/out "service mode" If you car has been to the shop recently there is a chance they put it in service mode and forgot to take it out before giving you the car back. ~Jordan.

Can you tell where that click is coming from, e.g. the starter solenoid, the TIPM, etc. First wire I would check is a yellow one with a grey stripe coming out of the TIPM. It goes to the starter solenoid and basically tells it when to energize for a start. It is on the output/downstream side of the starter relay in the TIPM.1. Low Fuel Pressure. Typical Fuel Pump.
