An agent I spoke with there resolved the issue in 30 minutes. He claimed that there was "an outage with the NBC Sports app" and that their engineering team "was solving the issue internally." DirecTV has never had a way of transferring recordings. The agents aren't unwilling. It is just how the service has been built, so is not a capability they have.
