Do unplug the rear "black" 1" wide electrical plug at the back of the shift mechanism so you isolate the shifter switches from the car. Now I could easily see the tiny microswitch at the top of the shifter, just about inline with the shiftshaft when in Park. It has 1 blue and 1 black wire going to it.
