Install yourself or take it to a car stereo type place for them to do it. The co. has how to videos. You'll save $$$ over a new CUE unit from the Dealer to only have it fail again down the road. The touchscreen itself is the issue, not the display behind what you touch or the unit behind it. The screen can be purchased from amazon for $130, including pdf installation instructions. Be sure when searching for one that it has the amber-colored translucent areas at the bottom. These are for the proximity sensors.Dead spot on CUE screen. It's most likely the root cause of the AC issue, or a faulty interconnect, -if you're lucky. Check all CUE-related fuses first. Then ensure the steering wheel controls communicate with the CUE.
