The way I would be absolutely sure that the gauge is not working is to remove it and test it.....Connect a jumper lead from the IGN terminal of the gauge to the + post of the battery....Connect another lead from the case of the gauge to the neg battery …The gauges and infotainment system share a computer bus. I have had the gauges go out twice and the infotainment center go out twice. They all occurred on initialization at startup. Once, shutting off and restarting solved he problem. Once, it took a couple of hours and several restarts. Twice it took overnight to resolve.
